One of the more recent additions to Amsterdam’s Michelin list, De Juwelier is the latest project of chefs Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot - the mastermind duo behind two-starred Restaurant 212. RIJKS, the restaurant of the Rijksmuseum, offers a locally-sourced menu that complements a lengthy stroll through the rooms of the museum. RIJKS' kitchen upholds the principles of Slow Food, an organisation that promotes regional cuisine, and the Ark of Taste, which encourages the use of local ingredients.
